LUMENE SCREENS TECHNOLOGY
The materials used for Lumene screens are chosen with the utmost care, ensuring a high-quality, durable product. It is essential to guarantee optimal tension of the fabric and to make sure that it resists to various levels of humidity and temperature. Moreover, the fabric needs to be stretch resistant and have antioxidant characteristics. Lastly, the canvas must be able to reproduce a perfect picture.
TOILE HD MATT WHITE CANVAS
We’ve chosen fiberglass so that our matt white canvas remains impeccable in any situation. The matt white fabric is made up of 4 layers. As a result, the fabric is highly resistant to temperature changes, humidity, distortion and stretching. The fiberglass structure is covered by two layers of white and black of antistatic and odorless PVC. The surface is covered with PVC microdots which allow the canvas to reflect extremely precise pictures.

CANVA UHD 4K
The UHD 4K canvas is made from flexible PVC. Unlike the Lumene HD matt white canvas, the surface of the UHD 4K screen is covered in diamond-shaped microbeads which allow a perfect reflection of 4K picture. The lower white layer’s colour temperature is 6000K* and the difference between reflected light and ambient light is less than 60K. What you get is an extremely detailed, pure reflection which is true to the video projector’s original image.
*Kelvin: The Kelvin scale (°K) is used to measure colour temperature as perceived by the human eye. It is used to measure what is commonly called “colour temperature”.

CANVAS UHD 4K/8K Platinum
Built on the same foundations as the Lumene UHD 4K canvas, the UHD 4K / 8K Platinum canvas is a 1.3 gain screen. The screen thus reproduces absorbed light more intensely, allowing every detail to be rendered with enhanced precision.

CANVAS AMBIENT REFLECTING
The Ambient Reflecting canvas is micro-structured. This is a new kind of surface that absorbs a room’s ambient light, all whilst reflecting the short throw projector’s light beam towards the viewer. The canvas also offers a high level of contrast and the best viewing specs possible in a particularly bright environment.

ACOUSTIC CANVAS
This canvas is woven with extreme precision. The vertical and horizontal lines are constructed to achieve 92 000 micropores per 10cm² of canvas. The difference in acoustic dampening between 8 kHz & 12.5 kHz and 500 Hz is less than 1 dB and 1.5 dB, which results in exceptional sound transparency. This complex woven structure is designed to be 4K compatible. Furthermore, the screen is anti-UV, washable, mould-resistant, fireproof and adapts to extreme temperatures (between -20°C and 60°C).
